Information We Collect

IP Address and Geolocation Data: When you use our "Find My IP" feature, we collect your public IP address ($_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']) to display it to you. We then send this IP address to a third-party geolocation service (ip-api.com) to determine and display approximate location data (country, region, city, ISP, latitude, longitude). This data is shown directly to you and is not stored persistently by us beyond the immediate request.

For the "IP Lookup" feature, we collect the IP address you provide and send it to the same third-party service (ip-api.com) for lookup. We do not store the IP addresses you look up.

For the "DNS Checker" feature, we collect the domain name you provide and use PHP's `dns_get_record()` function to query public DNS servers. We do not store the domain names you look up.

Browser-Based IP Detection: Our "Find My IP" page uses client-side JavaScript to make requests to third-party services (api.ipify.org and api64.ipify.org) to attempt to detect your specific IPv4 and IPv6 addresses directly from your browser. This information is displayed to you and not stored by us.

Logs: Like most web servers, our server may automatically log standard access information including browser type, operating system, referring URL, and the time of access. This data is used for system administration and troubleshooting and is not linked to personally identifiable information.

How We Use Information

The information collected is used solely to provide the functionality of the tools offered on this website:

• Displaying your IP address and its approximate location.
• Looking up details for an IP address you provide.
• Checking DNS records for a domain name you provide.
• Monitoring website performance and security.

Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services:

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services.
